Samir Ljaic has been part of the STRABAG Group since 2005, having held various positions in Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg. Following his studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, he began his career as a Administrative and Financial manager in Austria, where he played a key role in major construction projects and core financial processes.
 
During his time in Switzerland, Samir supported the integration of two construction companies into the STRABAG Group. He then took on senior management responsibilities in Austria and, from 2015 to 2025, served as Administrative and Financial Director of STRABAG METALLICA, a subsidiary specialising in metal and glass façades.
Since September 2025, Samir has been serving as interim Administrative and Financial Director for STRABAG Luxembourg SARL, next to another senior managerial role within the Benelux organisation.
 
At the Luxembourg location, Samir focuses on establishing clear structures, transparent processes and close collaboration with local partners. His leadership style promotes accountability and initiative. He is committed to contributing to the stable and forward‑looking development of STRABAG in Luxembourg.
